Serco Usability Services is running a hands-on workshop which looks in detail at the emerging technology of mobile television.

Serco Usability Services is running a hands-on workshop which looks in detail at the emerging technology of mobile television.

The course is based on the findings of recent independent studies conducted by Serco consultants and practical experience of designing user research for new technologies. In this one-day workshop you will:

• Discuss early findings concerning usability issues for current mobile TV services.

• Hear conclusions from our recent independent research studies.

• Learn how user centred techniques, including ethnographic research, can be used to understand the potential of new technologies.

Our workshops are designed to be interactive, and will include a number of participatory exercises in which attendees will be encouraged to share their views.

The workshop will be followed by a wine reception and opportunity to network.

Who should attend?

• Designers, information architects, and all those with an interest in the design of the user experience of mobile television.

• Engineers, product managers, and other staff concerned with mobile television.

• Commercial usability specialists, and user research specialists, who work with new technologies generally and who will employ techniques with an aspect of predictive usability.

• Academic usability experts, and user research specialists, interested in examples of research in this new technology.
