NMK's sister project, Lumiere, is hosting a morning session introducing professionals to the creative opportunities of new media.

Anthony Lilley of Magic Lantern presents a guide to the new media marketplace, cutting through the jargon and hyperbole to outline the real opportunities that are opening up for creative professionals in this fast-moving sector.

With an emphasis on the interests of film and TV producers, Anthony will explore the key platforms and technologies that make up the new media landscape and examine the underlying concepts that have made them of such profound importance to the media and communications industries. Chief among these will be the nature of interactivity itself, although the related concepts of community and connectivity will also be discussed in depth.
